He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Skidmore and Sally Boyd Skidmore; and his brother Douglas Skidmore. He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Skidmore (Nikki) and Jeremy Skidmore (Amy); his sister Linda Toal; his grandchildren, De Skidmore (Gracy Whitmire), Phillip Skidmore, Blayne Skidmore, Bryant Mixon and Tucker Mixon; and his great grandchildren, Lyle Skidmore, Lawson Skidmore and Layken Skidmore.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Top Rail Cowboy Church (262 Horsemans Rd, Greenville, TX 75401).
