He is survived by: his wife Lupe Reyes of Farmersville; his children, Maria Elena Ellis (James) of Farmersville and Steven (Courtney Reyes) of Farmersville; his siblings, Gloria (Francisco Guerroro) of Farmersville, Maria (John Perez) of Wylie, Juan Reyes, Jr. of Farmersville, Jesus Reyes and Elizabeth Reyes of Farmersville; and his sister-in-law Janie Perez of Farmersville. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
