She was predeceased by: her parents, Homar Samples and Annie Samples; and her siblings, Ruby Pritchett, Donald, Thomas, Eugene, Roger, Troy and Roy.
She is survived by: her husband James Edward; her sisters, Ida Stracner and Glenda Cooper (Cass); her children, Mary Strickland (Ric), James Ray (Gloria) and Donna Burdette (Richard); her grandchildren, Zack (Jackie), James (Carmen), Matt, Sam, Chris (Natalee) and Amanda (Brad); and her great grandchildren, Kobe, Bella, Cali, Drew, Camryn, Jocelyn, Eli, Haden, Joshua, Colton, Jaxon and Emma. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
