He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Benford and Mary Etta Pruett (Hilliard). He is survived by: his wife Viva Mae Myrick; his daughter Debbie Dodson (David); his grandchildren, Steven Dodson (Casee) of Dallas and Jenny Dodson of Dallas; his great grandchildren, Everly, Hayes and Larkin Dodson of Dallas; and his siblings-in-law, Pauline Todd of Verona and Aubrey Myrick of Carrollton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
