He was predeceased by: his parents, T. O. Capps and Addie Bell Capps; and his sister Gloria Cobb. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Capps; his daughter Laurie Capps Culbreth; his son-in-law David; his daughter Sheila Capps Dana; his son-in-law Randy; his grandchildren, Bailey Culbreth, Hayden Culbreth and Griffin Culbreth; his brother Jerry Lane Capps; his sister-in-law Pat Watson-Capps; his sister Faye Marlow; and his brother-in-law Bob Marlow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
