With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Miriam Rose Herndon (Farmers Branch, Texas), born in Leakesville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 23, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Rose and Rubye Rose; and her sister Elizabeth Sheppard of Dallas. She is survived by: her daughter Lauren Glass of Chicago, Illinois; her husband Dr. James Herndon of Dallas; her siblings, John Rose of La Grande, Oregon and Rosemarie Rose (Bob Meyers) of Alexandria, Virginia; her nephews, Adam Gain of Dallas and Sam Meyers of Alexandria, Virginia; her niece April Gain (Obed Manuel) of Denver, Colorado; her stepchildren, Mark Glass (Serafina) of Dallas, Eleanor Munson (John) of Dallas, Margaret Herndon (Kurt Scheiner) of Dallas and Emily Herndon of Dallas; and her pet Bones. She is also survived by aunt to her two nephews and a niece.
