He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Dooley Sr. and Norma Dooley; his grandparents, Marie Lowder, Gene Webber, Frank Dooley and Ruby; his sister Brenda Dooley; his wife Kathy of Frisco; his daughter Jessica; his son-in-law Reed Gardner; his grandchildren, Ezra and Kennedy Gardner of Dallas; his stepdaughter Stephanie (Shawn Ballard) of Sherman; and his brothers, David (Vickey Dooley), Bruce (Rocio Dooley) and Robert Dooley. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and coworkers.
Due to Covid the family held a private burial at the family gravesite at the Dale Cemetery.
