She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hicks and Ferril Hicks; her husband Marland Henderson; and her siblings, Bobbye Wilson and Jimmy Hicks.

She is survived by: her children, Shanon Petty (Ben), Shawn Medina (Bulmaro), Shirley Dornback (Jason) and David Preston Shore, III (Cheryl); and her grandchildren, Phillip Lacey, Treston Monje, Chris Medina, Nicole Hillner, Shawntee Neie, David Preston Shore, IV and Jacob Medina. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
