He is survived by: his wife Maria Ortega; his children, Ismael Ortega Jr., Miguel Ortega, Hilda Ortega Hernandez, Raquel Ortega Cruz and Silvia Amador; and his siblings, Joe Ortega, Lupe Estrada, Esteban Estrada, Luis Ortega, Nellie Ortega, Rocio Ortega, Magdalena Ortega and Kathy Ortega. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
