He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Brandt and Ann T. Brandt. He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald Brandt, Jean Brandt Perryman, Geraldine Brandt and Marilyn Brandt Wist; his nephew Lonnie Edwin Perryman; and his nieces, Ann Wist and Michelle Wist.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
