He was predeceased by: his wife Gale; his parents, Cleo Allen and Retha Allen; and his sisters, Jaquitta Allen Brown, Gladys Martin and Donnice Bannister.
He is survived by: his children, Alton Louis Allen Jr. (Kadee Allen) and Lisa Allen Armstrong; his grandchildren, Bradley Armstrong (Sarah Armstrong), Alan Armstrong (Katie Peralez), Mackenzie Roediger and Alton Louis Allen III; his great grandchildren, Ava Armstrong and Ebin Armstrong; and his siblings, Mary Woodall and Ronnie Allen. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Dallas Funeral Home (2710 Valley View Ln, Farmers Branch, TX 75234). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Old Hall Cemetery (1200 Mcgee Ln, Lewisville, TX 75077).
We would ask that a donation be made to the Shriners Children's instead of flowers.
