With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Edward Guidry (Fannett, Texas), born in Port Arthur, Texas, who passed away on April 20, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Odessa Guidry; his siblings, Ethel Mae Hughes, Elsie Broaddus, Clifford Guidry and Dewey James Guidry; and his granddaughter Christa Lynn Greene.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Langley (David) of Mauriceville, Julie Ann Hutchinson of Fannett, Gene L. Guidry (Deana) of Fannett, Marlene Mezzell (Billy) of Port Neches and Darlene Hargraves; and his siblings, Bernice Guidry of College Station, Alice Greer of LaBelle, Carol Demahy (Earl) of Lake Charles and Marvin Guidry (Molly) of Jasper. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
