With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Daniel Burneston of Fannett, Texas, born in Corsicana, Texas, who passed away on June 1, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Burneston and Winston Burneston; his uncle Victor D. Howell; and his aunts, Dorothy Anschutz, Betty Wylie and Joan Hand.

He is survived by: his wife Shelly; his daughters, Erin Damin (Paul) of Kingwood and Alisa Bell (Brian) of Lumberton; his grandchildren, Isaac Damin, Micah Damin, Kate Damin, Evelyn Bell and Alexander Bell; his aunt Patty Howell; and his cousins, Vicki Howell Payne of Corsicana, Bennie Hand of Corsicana, Pam Rhodes of Corsicana and Robin Wylie of Corsicana.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705.

Danny was all boy and at a early age he was getting into trouble--love to fight. Now talking about say 11 or 12 years old. He is out of discomfort now and joining his parents in heaven.
