It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Dale McCown of Fannett, Texas, born in China, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Crystal Sherman McCown and Alford Lee McCown; his wife Grace McCown; his children, Tommy Dale McCown and Carrie Kristine McCown; his daughter-in-law Tamara McCown; and his siblings, Donald Lee McCown and Carol Brady.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Dale McCown, Jr. of Fannett and Donald McCown of Nederland; his sister Betty Watson (Don) of Beaumont; his grandchildren, Kristen Wilson of Clarksville, Arkansas, Shyanne McCown of Sulphur, Louisiana, Hunter McCown of Nederland, Dylan McCown of Nederland and Michael McCown of Winnie; and his great grandchild Kaylee Wilson of Clarksville, Arkansas..
