He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie P. Pawelek and Annie E. Pawelek; his wife Ruby Pawelek; his brothers, Melton and Elmer Pawelek; and his siblings-in-law, Lucille, Jeanette Pawelek, Snake Wilson and Raymond Matlock.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Gordon, Joshua and Lauren Jones; and his siblings, Alfred Pawelek, Edna (German Kopecki), Rosalie Wilson, Adrian (Diane Pawelek), Helen Matlock and Glenn Pawelek. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
