It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Constance Lyssy of Falls City, Texas, born in Gillett, Texas, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Sturm Sr. and Mary Kapitza Sturm; her brothers, Leonard Sturm (Kathy), George Sturm (Lucy) and Timmy Sturm; her sister-in-law Joy Sturm; her nieces, Margaret Sturm and Mary Lea Sturm Kyrish; and her grandson Ryan Kelley.
She is survived by: her husband Sam Lyssy Sr.; her children, Sam Lyssy Jr. (Kim), Mike Lyssy, Lynette Lyssy, Carol Kelley (Danny) and Angie Moczygemba (Darel); her grandchildren, Alexander Lyssy, Alyson Henry (Conner), Zachary Lyssy, Michael Lyssy, Joseph Lyssy, Phillip Lyssy, Lauren Kelley, Morgan Kelley, Kendall Kelley, Brittany Kelley, Kelsey Moczygemba and Brandon Moczygemba; her great grandchildren, Leland Lyssy, Wyatt and Walker Henry; her siblings, Arnold Sturm Jr. (Connie), Marian Sturm, Imelda Louise Reeh (Joe), Fabian "Red" Sturm (Lauren), Joe Sturm (Kathy), Danny Sturm (Lynette) and David Sturm; and her sister-in-law Elsie Sturm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament of Victoria, Texas or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
