He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Theodore and Theresa Gwosdz Pawelek; his sister Katherine P. Kroll; his brothers-in-law, Otto Kroll, Chester Jarzombek and Edward Soberoski Sr; his daughter-in-law Michelle Pawelek; his nephew Tomy Kroll; his niece Carolyn Kroll; his great-niece Tammy Kroll; his stepgrandson J. T. Tarro; and his pet Willie.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his children, Patsy Kroll, Charlie Pawelek (Charla), Kathy Zunker (Anthony), Cindy Pawelek (Fred Schwartz), Barbara Grothues (Gary) and Jeffery Pawelek (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the Falls City Volunteer Fire Department.
