It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita (Lockney) Ortegon (Falfurrias, Texas), who passed away on July 5, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ramon; her children, Meliton Gonzales and Ofelia Ortegon; her son-in-law Richard Zavala; and her grandson Michael Gonzales.
She is survived by: her daughter Victoria Zavala (Vicky); and her grandchildren, Ana, Mary Lou, Greg, Cynthia Zavala, Jacob, Jeremiah Ortegon, Jonathan Coleman, Marc Gonzales and Melissa. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
