She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Bruce and Louella Bennett Allen; her siblings, Corinne, Sadie, Byron, Frank, Milton, Pat, Elaine, Winston and Sam; her husband Jack Talmage Hughes; her children, Alan Dale Hughes and Jacquelyn; and her uncle Harry.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kirvin Baptist Church (200 Main St, Streetman, TX 75859).
