With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verlyn Loy Newberry of Fairfield, Texas, born in Cuero, Texas, who passed away on January 11, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Schorlemer and Amanda Schorlemer (Ruschhaupt); her brother Alvin Schorlemer Jr.; and her husband James Newberry. She is survived by: her son Scott Newberry (Carolyn) of Fairfield; and her grandchildren, Amanda Forrest (Benjamin Forrest) of Dallas, Kyle Newberry (Ashley Newberry) of Arlington and J. Newberry of Fairfield.
