Shelba J. Black Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2024, Shelba J. Black (Fairfield, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Steve (Melinda); her grandchildren, Julie Crocker (Casey), Lauren Black, Brett Walker (Jenn), Katy Conner, Ben Black (Brianne) and Cory Black; her great grandchildren, Cameron Crocker, Hadley Walker, Hannah Walker, Killian Conner and Aubri Grace Black; her sisters-in-law, Mozelle Cherry, Doris Casey (Roy Jr.) and Kay Key; and her parents, Ernest Jackson and Emma "Sweetie" Key. She was also cherished by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Many of her heirlooms were donated to the Freestone County Museum – with a note that told what the item was and who it belonged to.
