She was predeceased by: her daughter Sheila Rosemary "Rosie" Whiting; her parents, Roy Whiting and Glenn Scott; and her siblings, Jim Black, Duvard Black, Claud Black, Purvis Black and Ruth Cleaton.
She is survived by: her brother Kenneth Black. She is also survived by her siblings and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church - Dew (222 FM 489, Teague, TX 75860). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Richland Cemetery.
