We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2022, at the age of 83, MacAria Lopez Duarte (Fairfield, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Lemuz and Paula Lopez Lemuz; her husband Ramon Duarte; and her siblings, Ursela Lopez, Maria Magdalena and Jose R. Lopez.

She is survived by: her children, Elvia Veliz of Fairfield, Jorge A. Curan of Guatemala, Sandra Reyes (Matias) of Fairfield and Thelma Cordon of Dallas, TX; and her siblings, Fermin Lopez, Mariano Lopez, Tomasa Lopez, Florencia Lopez, Martina Lopez and Ursula Lopez of Guatemala. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
