He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Mooney and Hazel Mooney; and his siblings, Ken and Saundra. He is survived by: his wife Emma Grace Mooney; his children, Mark and Sheri; and his sisters, Gail and Janice. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren.

Throughout his struggle with Parkinson's, that passion grew, and he wanted others to know that God was still in control and that God still loved him.
