He was predeceased by: his father Wilbert Carter; his grandparents, Tracy and Lula Mae Willis (Mitchell Gatson); his granddaughter Zyhia Shalise Katrice Carter; his brother Christopher Renee Carter; his father-in-law Bobby Lee Ransom; and his brother-in-law Richard Harris Ransom.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Nell Carter; his children, Bobby Fernell Carter, Sr. (Yvonne), Antonio Montrece Carter (Tammara), Alvin Montrece Carter, Jr., Akewa Owina Shalise Tieman (Michael) and Shakeal Fernell Carter (Brianna); his grandchildren, Alexis, Bobby Jr., Tonio, Samahgia, Sir'Micah, Averi and Anai; his great grandchildren, Mason and Allison; his mother Bessie Mae Thompson; his brothers, Kirby Carter and Wendell Carter; and his godchildren, Bishop Carlos Daniels, Sarah Jones and Norbert Hill.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cornerstone Full Gospel Church (303 State Hwy 75 N, Fairfield, TX 75840). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the Ransom Family Cemetery.
