It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Barnes of Fairfield, Texas, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cecil "Barney" and Nancy Ellen Barnes; his parents-in-law, Travis and Dora Bonner; and his brother-in-law James Travis "Jimmy" Bonner.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Bonner; his children, Beth Barnes and David Barnes Jr. (Crystal); his grandchildren, Travis Barnes and Maddie Barnes; his sister Marilu Eppes (Dennis); his sister-in-law Kay Turner; his friend Gwen Rosser-Moore; and his goddaughter Cheyenne Bozeman.
