She was predeceased by: her significant other David; her siblings, Dudley, W. A. Hawthorne, Odessa, Grady Hawthorne of Longview, Lottie Via of Talco, Ruby Adams of Leveretts Chapel, Ophelia Henry of Palestine and Laura Mae Robinson of Fort Worth; and her nieces and nephews, James Via (Jerry Ann), Mickey Via, Shelba and Jo Baby of Haughton, Louisiana..
She is survived by: her son Charles L. Whitaker (Sarah Reeder Whitaker); and also, Martha, Bill Adams, Betty and Tammy Walker.
