He is survived by: his wife Alva Jean Blair Porter; his children, Elmer Bernard Porter, Jr., Bruce Wilburn Porter (Carrie), Sheryl Porter Hicks and William Ralph Porter (Pam); and his grandchildren, Nicole Porter, Nicholas Porter, April White (Terrance), Candace Briggs, Sidney Hicks, Jr., Christopher Hicks, Lauren Crawford (Quentin) and Ryan Porter (Caitlin).
