It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Freehauf of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on May 31, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Freehauf and Margaret Freehauf (Kohler); his sister Mary Ann Messinger; and his former wife Josephine. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his sister Evelyn Houlne of North Aurora, IL; his children, Robert (Dana) of Cibolo, Michael (Kimberly) of Hondo, Steve (LeAnn) of Zanesfield, OH and Teresa Freehauf-Rodriguez (John) of Converse; and his stepsons, Rick (Alma) of San Antonio, Scott (Leigh) of Ponchatoule, LA and David (Jeanne) of Abita Springs, LA.. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
