It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Penny Joy Sawyer of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas, who passed away at the age of 75, on October 9, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Anderson and Elnora Anderson; and her sister Barbara Kobbervig. She is survived by: her husband Darrell Sawyer; her children, Timothy (Holly) and Tamara (Ryan); her grandchildren, Savannah Ellie, Saylor Lee Sawyer, Lola Claire and Luke Ryan Hutchison; her brother Steve Anderson (Carolyn); and her sister-in-law Jackie Cupery (Don). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to Currey Creek Church at 35 Cascade Caverns Rd, Boerne, TX 78015 and/or to the Rotary Club of Fair Oaks Ranch Foundation, at P.O. Box 1962, 697 E. Blanco Rd., Boerne, Texas 78006, with the funds designated to the Penny Sawyer Scholarship Fund.
