He was predeceased by: his wife Petra. He is survived by: his children, Hector "Teto", Arturo "Tutis", Sergio "Yeyo", Luis C. Hernandez and Argelia Martinez of Sandra Rodriguez; and his siblings, Teresa Rios, Soledad "Chole" Chacon, Eliazar "Char" Torres and Everardo Gutierrez. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.
