With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billie Reid Ponton Smith of Ezzell, Texas, who passed away on May 5, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arnim Reid and Verna Chambers Reid; her former husband Charles Ponton of Hallettsville; her husband Lloyd Smith of Matagorda County, Texas.; and her sister Erna Faye Holt.
She is survived by: her son Joel Ponton (Nancy); her grandsons, Kelley Ponton (Joy) and Casey Ponton (Sabrina); her great grandchildren, Austin, Morgan, Caleb, Coy, Cannin and Cianna; her stepchildren, Danny Smith (Sharon), David Smith (Melissa) and Clara Havenstrite (Chet); her stepgrandsons, Stephen Smith (Heather), Dustin Smith, Matt Mullins (Malinda) and Josh Mullin; and her great grandchildren, Ashley and Harper.
Funeral Service (All attendees is suggested wear masks): 11 am, Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Kubena Funeral Home, Hallettsville, TX; with Visitation starting at 9 am.
