He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hargis and Beulah Hargis (Clark); his brothers, William "Frank" Hargis, Horrace "Pete" Hargis, Jack Hargis, George "Harold" Hargis, John "Melvin" Hargis, William Cayce and Dick "Dickie" Hargis; his grandson Ryan Pennock; and his grandson-in-law Tim Connor.
He is survived by: his sister Carol Bernita Gordon (Hargis); his children, Kim Pennock (Burt Hanvy), Karl Hargis, Kasey Homan (Joe) and Kelli Bryant (Skip); his grandchildren, Curtis Pennock (Jenny), Jack Nichols (Ashley), Lacey Byrd (Josh), Katie Connor and Cody Gray; and his great grandchildren, Madee, Dylann, Tiffany, Reid, Syenna, Sophia, Presleigh, Carter, Logan and Langston. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
