He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Wilson Garrett and Margaret Laverne Hopkins Garrett; his stepmother Dorothy Garrett; his parents-in-law, Dub Williams and Faye Williams; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Williams and Jerry Miles.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Garrett; his children, Dana Holbrook (Don Martin) and Duane Garrett (Lisa); his sister Jennifer Garrett; his sisters-in-law, Gwen Miles, Martha Jackson (Johnny) and Beverly Williams; his grandchildren, Krista Lance (Eric), Brad Garrett (Megan), Garrett Fellers (Michaela), Trent Garrett and Amber Kelly (Stephen); and his great grandchildren, Haiden Garrett, Gaige Compton, Avery Garrett, Kinsley Garrett, Nolan Fellers, Riley Kelly, Levi Garrett, Shepard Garrett and Neely Fellers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
