He is survived by: his father Roy Bates; his wife Terry Bates (Registered Nurse); his son Justin Bates (Ciara); his grandchildren, Javi and Jace; his son Cory Bates (Devon); his grandchildren, Bryson, Waverly and Westlyn; and his siblings, William Randy Bates, Rodney Arville Bates, Renea Bates Kirksey and Rochelle Irene Ninteman. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
