Garn Sr.; his wife Idah Garn; his stepchildren, Shurrie Swindall and Christa Stone; his adoptive children, Matthias and Amethyst Garn; his stepdaughter Carine Watkins; his siblings, Stacy Garn and Jon Garn; and his stepmother Georgia Strohaver. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
