She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Weldon (Curly) and Ruby Adeline Braziel Gilchrest; and her daughters, Karen King and Cindy Perkins. She is survived by: her husband Sheldon Perkins; her daughters, Beverly Marwitz (Scott) of Evant and Gay McCarty of Gatesville; her stepsons, Lynn Perkins (Ladelle) of Lampasas, Kirk Perkins of Lampasas and Keith Perkins of Houston; and her siblings, Jerry Gilchrest of Connecticut and Cheryl Eary (Delton) of Gatesville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
