He was predeceased by: his mother Margie Balcerek Stegent; and his grandparents, Johnnie Mark, Sr., Florence Dekowski Stegent and Theo Balcerek. He is survived by: his father David J. Stegent (Chappell Hill); his wife Shauna; and his children, Nathan Stegent (Alyx), Shelby Jones (Hayden) and Jordan Ethridge (Samantha).
