She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Kemmerle and Edith Kemmerle; her husband Lonnie Byers; and her daughters, Karen Lynn Rogers and Lori Houghton. She is also survived by her sister, two children, two step-children, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Kay's wish was that you would donate to Moorehead-Melton Cemetery or a reputable breast cancer organization.
