He is survived by: his wife Trena Mixon; his sister Jean Lowery; his sons, Grover Lee Mixon (Chastity), Robert Mixon (Beth), Stephen Mixon (Heather) and Jamie George (Angie); and his nieces and nephews, Christy Ridgle and John Lowery. He is also survived by ses 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
