It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Horton (Eustace, Texas), who passed away on June 19, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Layton and Carrie Levicie Anthony (Gatlin); her husband Ernest Horton; her children, Dale Horton, Larry Horton and Melba Horton; her grandson Cody Allen; and her siblings, David Anthony, Harvey Anthony, Evelyn Tesky, Doris Shelton and Brenda Plisco.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Horton of Colorado Springs, CO, Margie Patterson (Don) of Terrell, TX and Rosemary Thomas (Jarvis) of Monroe, LA; her daughter-in-law Martha Horton of Gillette, AR; and her close friend J. W. Hammer. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
