She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Thomas and Maudie Thomas (Moore) of Whitney; her husband Bernie Finnegan Sr.; her siblings, Rayburn (Sue Belle) of Whitney, Elmoe Thomas (Joann) of Whitney, Travis "Tommy" Thomas (Nelda) of Whitney, Buford "Jackie" Thomas and Jimmie Nell Ashley (Treat) of Whitney; and her brother-in-law Howard Hill of Whitney.

She is survived by: her siblings, James "Bill" Thomas of Whitney, Mary Sue Brooks (Welborn) of Whitney and Ladean Hill of Whitney; her children, Wendell Finnegan (Sandy) of Haltom City, Sharon Finnegan of Euless and Bernie Finnegan Jr. (Melissa) of Marlin; her grandchildren, Tonia Tarwater (James) of Wichita Falls, John Finnegan (Jacki) of Casper, Wyoming and Cody Finnegan (Harley) of Marlin; her great grandchild Tiffany Tarwater of Fort Worth; her grandchildren, Kristi, Bethany Tarwater of Wichita Falls, Joseph Ryan (Libby Tarwater) of Iowa Park, Jessica, Jacob, Joseph Finnegan of Casper, Wyoming and Dakota Finnegan of Marlin; and her great great grandchild Hannah Wallot of Fort Worth.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors Chapel (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Ridge Park (Forest Ridge Dr, Bedford, TX 76022).
