He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Hammer and Hazel Hammer; and his brother Olin Hammer (Birdie). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his brother George Hammer (Nancy); his children, Deana Hillock, Jodi Coker (Gerald) and Randy Hammer (Christy); his grandchildren, Heather Atis (Adem), Courtney Coker, Megan Coulson (Paul) and Ryan Hammer; and his great grandchildren, Ela, Taner Atis and Kallie Coulson.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fred J. Tips Mausoleum Chapel (20900 I-10, San Antonio, TX 78257).
