She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Gardner and Goldie Gardner (Bennett); her husband J. R. Shores; her son Terry Don Shores; and her brother Donald Gardner.
She is survived by: her son Gary Wayne Shores (Charla) of Clyde; her sister Shirley McCartney of Clyde; and her grandchildren, Stephen Shores, Wesley Shores, Crisha Harrell, Brandy McFarland, Cherie Bogart and Anthony LaSagna. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
