He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Belz and Anna Alma Belz; his wife Anna Lee Belz; his brothers, John Belz, Frederick "Fritz" Belz and Charles "Skeeter" Belz; and his niece Sharon Belz.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Koenig (Charlie) of Colleyville, TX and David Belz (Jamie) of Graford, TX; his stepson Larry Templin of Salado, TX; his grandchildren, Chris Koenig (Helen), Rachel Koenig (Jenny) of Dallas, TX and Mackenzie Watson (Jerid) of Irving, TX; his stepgrandsons, Dustin Templin and Spencer Templin; his great grandchildren, Olyvia Koenig, Remi Lee Watson and Riley Jane Watson; and his niece Debbie Reynolds of Fort Worth, TX.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bailey-Howard Funeral Home (105 Oak St, Clyde, TX 79510). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Burkett Cemetery.
