She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Estella Rivers and John Duff Little; her sister Lucille Baker (Rembert L. Baker); her son Gerald Mark McClure; and her stepgreat-granddaughter MacKenzie Patterson.
She is survived by: her grandson Tanner Gerald McClure Franklin; her husband Gerald C. McClure; her daughter Geralyn McClure Franklin (Kenny); her stepdaughter Gayla DeRouen (Steve); her grandson Tanner Franklin; her stepgranddaughter Stephanie Patterson (Jeff); her stepgreat-granddaughter Sabrina Patterson; and her sisters, Geraldene Runnels and Donna Lee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. McClure was recognized for her commitment to education on several occasions including as Texas Business Educator of the Year and the Tarkington Student Foundation Educator of the Year.
