It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Franklin Sessum of Etoile, Texas, born in Hosston, Louisiana, who passed away on February 23, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Sessum (Allen) and David Franklin Sessum; his sisters, Hazel Smith, Juanita Provost and Ann Cord; his granddaughter Sara Malone; and his former wife Margaret Sessum.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Sessum of Etoile; and his children, David Sessum (Shari) of Elkhart, James Sessum of Lufkin, Rickey Sessum of Andrews, Harvey Terry (Theresa) of Trinity, Shane Terry (Tracey) of Trinity, Cynthia Peoples of Nacogdoches, Donna Oliver (Mark) of Pollok, Leora Traylor (Brenda) of Nacogdoches, Cindy Fondren of Lufkin and Jeanne Malone of Lufkin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
