She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Harris and Nellie Spurlock Harris; her husband Alabama Engram; her son Johnny Welch; her granddaughter Claudette Svehla; and her siblings, Opal Keaton and Basil Fountain.
She is survived by: her son Jack Welch (Barbara) of Etoile, TX. She is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and twenty-nine great-great-grandchildren.
