With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Knight of Era, Texas, born in Gainesville, Texas, who passed away on December 25, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Turner and Alma Knight (Vann); his siblings, Van Knight Sr., Billy Knight, Emma Bentley, Mozelle Brown and Johnnie MacDonald; and his brother-in-law Ray Hartfiel.
He is survived by: his former wife Norma Ann Inglish; his wife Ann Knight of Era; his children, Kevin Knight (Emily) of Hereford, Karen Knight Crowder (Michael) of Argyle and Keith Knight (Shannon) of McKinney; his grandchildren, Diane Knight, Richard Knight, Connor Knight, John Crowder, Collin Knight, Jason Crowder and Carson Knight; his sister Pat Hartfiel of New Braunfels; and his cousin Billy Vann (Sandy) of Valley View. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, where Mr. Knight received treatment for clubfoot as a child.
