He was predeceased by: his uncles, Telesforo Correa and Guillermo Correa; and his grandfather Amadeo Correa. He is survived by: his son Emilio Correa; his parents, Juana Reyes and Emiliano Correa; his siblings, Jose, Carlos, Nadia, Sergio and Angelita; his nieces and nephews, Miguel, Rosalynn, Jonathan, Leah, Alex, Anayely and Carlos, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Daisy Correa, Marie Correa and Juan Martinez.
